One of the steel fitting called Carbon steel buttweld fittings, two type seamless and welded pipe as starting material and is processed into the shape of elbows, tees & reducers by hot and cold forming from a China manufacture pindee fitting
We are a Chinesed manufacture pindee fitting supplies various of carbon steel buttweld fittings, they are 90 degree elbow, straight and reducing tee, concentric and eccentric reducer, cap, stub end. Why more and more people choose butt welding even if the operation is difficult?

Butt Weld Elbow
The 90 degree elbow changes the direction of oil and gas flow by 90 degrees. And there are long radius (LR) and short radius (SR) types. LR represents 1.5D, SR represents 1D.
Carbon steel 45 degree elbow: almost the same as the above, only with a 45 degree angle. By the way, the weight is half of a 90 degree elbow.

Docking welding tee
Carbon steel equal diameter tee
The diameter of the pipeline is the same as that of the branch pipe, so we sometimes refer to it as a straight tee. It is used to connect pipelines with pipes that are at a right angle to the pipeline.
Carbon steel reducing tee
We can tell from the names that these three sizes are different. Strictly speaking, the diameter of the branch pipe is smaller than that of the straight pipe.

Concentric reducer
Carbon steel concentric reducers are commonly used for inline in vertical flow applications, or as increments if placed horizontally.
Carbon steel eccentric reducer
Eccentric reducer is also known as welded eccentric coupling. It allows welding large pipes onto small pipes with offset centerlines.

Specification for carbon steel butt welded fittings
ASTM A234- Forged carbon steel and alloy steel butt weld fittings: This specification covers forged carbon steel and alloy steel butt weld fittings for seamless and welded structures. This is the most common material for carbon steel butt welded fittings (especially WPB grade), with seamless sizes up to 24 inches, where diameters of 24 inches or larger can be seamless or welded. These butt welded fittings are used in the manufacturing of pressure pipelines and pressure vessels and can be used at medium to high temperatures.
ASTM A860: This specification covers forged high-strength ferritic steel butt weld fittings for seamless and electric fusion welded structures covered by the latest versions of ASME B16.9 and MSS-SP-75. These butt welded fittings are used for high-pressure natural gas and oil transportation and distribution systems.
