In Sanitary Butterfly Valve design, the“butterfly" is a metal disc mounted on a rod. The valve is fully open when the handle is turned and the disc is rotated a quarter turn, allowing unrestricted flow. When the valve is closed, the handle is turned so the disc completely blocks the passageway. Butterfly valves can also be opened incrementally to control flow.
The sanitary butterfly valve can also be fitted to our pneumaitc on/off acutator.
