Specification of Stainless Steel 430 Coil: Type 430 belongs to Martensitic. It has high chromium but very low nickel content. Chromium content is between 16 -18%, while nickel content is 0.5% max. There's a maximum 1% of manganese, 0.12% carbon, and 0.03% of sulfur and 0.04% phosphorous. Because of lower nickel content, stainless steel 430 has much cheaper price than 304 and 316, which makes it one of the most common stainless steel grade used among our daily lives.
